THE COMPLETE ANIMATION COURSE, 2003, THAMES & HUDSON

This book has a lot of chapters, that describe each part of a different style of animation. It discusses stop-action, simple animation, cel animation, web animation and 3D CGI. In each of these they discuss software to use, however this book is published in 2003 but they use references of the late 90's, so it leaves a little dated.

This was the first book I looked at when making animation for part of my coursework in film studies, as it gave quick run-downs when showing the type of animation I would be able to start as an amateur.
